Our Photographer Honored as a Prominent Pittsburgh Entrepreneur at 2015 WHIRL Women In Business Event
Our photographer, Pam Ingram, was privileged to be nominated for a special honor by WHIRL Magazine for thier 2015 Women in Business.
The event was held at the William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.
Women from all over the area and from various market sectors gathered to connect, share ideas, and enjoy the comaraderie of fellow business owners over drinks and fine food.
The women were also interviewed about their business
and position in the community.

Congratulations and thanks again, everyone!
One of our longtime clients, Hair Symmetry II, ran an ad in the Sewickley Herald this month to announce their winning of the 2012 Trib Total Media Readers’ Choice Awards, and they featured an image from our recent session with them for the article! We had a blast photographing the team, and are honored that they chose one of our images to help them announce their exciting news.
Looking great everybody – congratulations on earning the Gold Award and Neighborhood Award for Best Beauty Salon!
We didn’t get to share this news earlier, so we are excited to post now: IPD’s photo of a little boy visiting with a sweet therapy dog at Children’s Hospital last year was selected as one of the winning images for the 2011 National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) Photo Exhibit. The exhibit went to Children’s Hospitals all around the country, as well as to the Rotunda of the Russell Senate Office Building, Capitol Hill. All images were also used for NACHRI programs, publications, and on their website.
We were thrilled to be included, and honored to be a part of the ongoing work that Children’s Hospitals across the country are doing to help kids and their families heal. We’ve attached the congratulatory letter sent to Kevin Urda, Pittsburgh’s Children’s hospital volunteer coordinator, who submitted our image for the collection, as well the winning image!
Ingram Portrait Design was proud to be a sponsor of the Pittsburgh Cure Sarcoma 5K Run-Walk in North Park this July.
This was the 1st annual Run-Walk for Sarcoma for Pittsburgh, and we hope it will become a yearly tradition.
We’re so excited to share this milestone with you all: Ingram Portrait Design was featured in this month’s edition of Professional Photographers Magazine! We have our own page in the “Good Works” section, for our work with Children’s Hospital.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Children’s Hospital mission, and to have the opportunity to give back to our community. And we can hardly believe that our winning image (the header of the article below) will be displayed at the U.S. Capital Building in Washington, D.C. in July! We attached the article below as a jpeg so that you could read it right from our blog. If you want to see the online print magazine edition, follow this link and go to page 131.
Thanks for sharing this exciting time with us!
