We had such a blast photographing these three siblings in their own backyard, which provided many fun locations for us.
These imaginative kids pass the time exploring the woods, walking through the tall grasses of the fields, and hanging out with their canine friends! Here are two of our favorites from that day.

The weather is warm, flowers are in bloom, and everywhere you go you’ll see children playing as summer gets underway.
We’ve had the great honor of capturing the earliest beginnings of parenthood in our studio over the years, and our latest sessions are no exception! Most recently we’ve met a beautiful newborn, as well as several very pregnant moms-to-be, and have a couple of images to share from each of their sessions. Best wishes to all of you moms and dads with your little ones this summer!
We didn’t get to share this news earlier, so we are excited to post now: IPD’s photo of a little boy visiting with a sweet therapy dog at Children’s Hospital last year was selected as one of the winning images for the 2011 National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) Photo Exhibit. The exhibit went to Children’s Hospitals all around the country, as well as to the Rotunda of the Russell Senate Office Building, Capitol Hill. All images were also used for NACHRI programs, publications, and on their website.
We were thrilled to be included, and honored to be a part of the ongoing work that Children’s Hospitals across the country are doing to help kids and their families heal. We’ve attached the congratulatory letter sent to Kevin Urda, Pittsburgh’s Children’s hospital volunteer coordinator, who submitted our image for the collection, as well the winning image!
